Love Uggs!

When I first saw UGG boots I thought the same as a lot o people! that they were uggly and looked like slippers! I bought myself a fake par refusing to pay the massive price tag on the real pairs but after seeing how much better the real ones looked I decided to invest in a pair and I am not dissapointed!

the overall structure of the UGG boots can not be beaten by any copy, I have noticed in the fake uggs that people tend to look like they are walking on the inside of their feel as the boots are baggy causing there feet to move inwards! This, however, is not the case with genuine UGGs the structure of them is solid and yoru feet stay comfortably in one position.

The lning of UGGs is also unbeatable they are extremeley comfortable even without socks and the inside of them never smell!

UGGs are pretty univerisal in that you can wear them in most situations, I have seen people wear them with shorts and on the beach as well as in the cold weather with a pair of jeans! Because the UGGs alow air to access your feet in hot weather meaning your feet do not over heat and are well ventilated but in the winter they keep your feet cosy and warm making them ideal for all weather types!

Overall, I don't think you can beat the quality and comfort of genuine UGG boots!

The Ugg Craze Has Swept Hong Kong

Uggs were supposed to be functional shoes, for romping around in the snow and staying warm when the heater breaks. Those functions, and those functions alone. The boots have become, however, a statement "It" item utilized for fashion purposes probably more than functional purposes these days. You know an item like this is destined for continued success when chicks in hot, muggy towns like Austin, Texas, wear them year-round with denim skirts, like they're flip-flops, to look sexy. You also know their success can't be stifled when the company that owns them pulls in $813 million in revenue in a year, as the company that owns Uggs did in '09. And you know they're here to stay when companies like Jimmy Choo start making embellished, fringed $600 versions of the things. The craze has swept the muggy city of Hong Kong, where important fancy department store Lane Crawford saw the boots sell out within a month last year.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

“I would say we were somewhat surprised at how intense the reaction was,” says Peter Nichols, senior buyer for Lane Crawford’s designer shoes department. “Clearly the consumer had been waiting for it.”

One look at these boots, though, raises the question of whether the fad will ever die. The thick, ungainly boots can cut off a woman’s legs in a most unflattering way — resembling two stuffed animals gnawing at the feet. Meanwhile the inner layer of fleece seems appropriate only for snowstorms, and hardly useful in the winters of Hong Kong, where temperatures rarely fall below 18 degrees Celsius.

Nichols adds that he believes "Ugg boots are here to stay," and that “Whether you love them or not, they are definitely a part of the footwear conscience." Has anyone considered that maybe, just maybe, the Jimmy Choo collaboration will kill their appeal?

Heaven For Your Feet!

I have to say getting a pair of Ugg boots was the best thing I have ever done! They are so comfortable and fashionable! I don't know a single teenage (and older) girl who does not own a pair of Ugg's, obviously most of those Ugg's are not real but they are SUCH a fashion statement at the moment and they go with anything!

*Price: I got my Classic Tall Chesnut Ugg boots from my Mum as a Christmas present, she brought them from Schuh for £189.99. Although you can buy them from many other shops such as Amazon, E-bay,

*The Packaging & Ugg's Themselves: The Ugg's (if real) come in a large shoe box, with 'Ugg' written on the top and a web address down the side. Ugg boots are made from a gorgeous sheep skin, inside and out. So comfortable I never wear socks - its like wearing cosy slippers!
The base of the Ugg's are solid, although they are not supporting they are comfortable. The soles of mine haven't worn at all and I don't know anyone who has Ugg's with a funny sole. They do not loose shape, although the inside moulds to your foot as you wear them more - due to it being sheep skin.
I do recommend buying a size bigger than you are as the thick sheepskin makes the boot a bit smaller.

In my opinion, Ugg's are the most comfortable boots you can buy. They are soft, cosy and fit well. The price might be a bit high but I'm sure you could buy a pair from E-bay or Amazon for cheaper :)

Uggs - A snuggly Fit!

Ugg Boots are all the rave for teens and adults alike - I have even seen a few of the more mature age wondering around in them! So what are they like?!

I own 3 pairs of uggs, Grey classic tall, Brown Classic short, Chestnut Bailey Button.

There is good reason why I own these products, and it is because they are the most comfortable boot made!

Uggs are lined in real sheepskin - Which is exactly the reason you should buy the real ones, as fake ones will not be made out of good quality material.

Uggs have support - If you ever watch anyone wearing fake uggs over 2 weeks old you will see that when they walk, their feet collapse down the inside of the boot. I know from personal experience this can be very uncomfortable.

SO why should you buy uggs??

1] So comfortable you won't want to take them off

2] Warm for those chilly Winter days

3] Great support

4] Long lasting [My oldest pair are 2 years and still going strong]

5] Stylish!

6] Match everything - Can wear them running around, or looks cute with leggings and vest tops.

I do remind you that if you buy these to make sur you put water repelent on them [Doesn't have to be ugg branded, but it will prolong the life of yer uggs]

AND buy a size down, they may feel tight at first, but the boots expand!

Both Cute & Useful Boots!

absolutely adore the UGG Classic Short Boots. They are very fashionable and can be worn by all ages. Short UGGS are worn by many celebrities, children, teens, and adults. Some men even wear them! They come in many different colors and patterns for you to choose from. The reason why I would choose the short UGGs rather than the tall ones is because of the weather where I live. It rarely gets really cold here, so I do not need boots that come all the way up my shin. The short ones are fine for me because they keep my toes, feet, ankles, and half of my shin warm. Not only are these boots cute, but they are so comfortable. The inside of these boots have a thick layer of sheepskin, which is what makes them so comfy! UGG boots are made to keep your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In my opinion this is really neat! The other thing that makes them so comfortable is that the very bottom of the boot is curved outward. This makes them really comfortable to walk in. I think that these boots look best with skinny leg or straight leg jeans tucked into them. This is probably the most popular way to wear them. They also look good with flare jeans over them. Some people even wear sweatpants with them, which also looks good in my opinion. You can roll the top of the boot down to expose some of the fiur on the inside which is totally cute. Before I bought a pair of these boots, I owned a few pairs of knockoff ones from different stores. they were not neither comfortable or as cute as these. Knockoff UGGs are not made of skeepskin or have as much fur on the inside as the real UGGS. UGGs are really durable if you take good care of them. You can buy a kit for them and it contains "shampoo" and "conditioner" for the boots along with a comb and water proofing spray. That is why I think that the $140 that they normally cost is totally worth it.

These boots are made for warming!

Last Christmas I was thrilled to be given a pair of classic tall Ugg boots. I had wanted a pair for ages; although at around £190 they were out of my price range! I had considered buying a pair of cheaper imitation boots, but they neither looked nor felt as good in my opinion. It really did have to be the real thing or nothing for me!

Most people will be aware of Ugg boots as they have been a popular for some time now. However let me briefly tell you what you get for all that money. Ugg boots are an Australian creation and are now sold all over the world. There are many different styles and colours of Ugg boots available, but I’m going to concentrate of my Ugg tall classic boots. If you would like to see what they have on offer then I suggest you take a look at the Ugg Austrilian web site. Words of warning here; there are lots of fake imitation Ugg boots being sold via the internet so be sure that you buy from a reputable source.

My Ugg boots were purchased from John Lewis and I had already tried on several pairs before my husband purchased them. It is important to try on before you buy to ensure the right fit. I found I needed a size bigger than I would normally take. The boots have a sheepskin upper and inner. The sheepskin used is of a high quality. There is a raw seam that continues around the foot area and up the leg of the boot. The boots have a thick rubber sole with good grip and reinforced heel. In addition to the tall classic version there is also a version if you prefer. I opted for the tall version as not only are they warmer but I love the way you can turn down the top of the boot giving a different look. John Lewis offered a choice of three colours including short black, chesnut and chocolate. I opted for a chocolate pair as I thought they looked lovely and wouldn’t show the dirt so easily! The boots cost £190, so they are certainly not a cheap item! However the short classic version are cheaper costing £100.

Ugg boots are designed to be worn without socks or tights. I love the warm soft feel of sheepskin against my feet. I am also happy that I don’t have to worry about my socks slipping into the boot as I walk! I wore my boots constantly during the cold weather we experienced last winter and my feet stayed warm and dry. The boots grip well too; important when the pavements are icy! I like to wear my jeans tucked inside my boots and find that they stay in place, another plus point for me! The bots are easy to clean and it is recommended that you wash in cold water using a product designed for cleaning sheepskin. I tend to just sponge my boots clean and use a soft brush to remove any mud or dirt. The boots will also need to be protected with a water and stain repellant, this can be purchased from most shoe shops.

Overall I can highly recommend Ugg boots. They look good, are comfortable to wear and keep my feet and legs toasty warm! I should also mention that as these are not made using man made materials they don’t make my feet sweat!
